Choosing fabric for your project
Start from the garment you want to make, then choose the fabric character.

The easiest way to choose fabric is to start from the product you want to make and how it will be worn.
- Everyday tees: cotton fabrics such as combed that are smooth and absorbent.
- Fitted tops: stretchy rib or spandex fabrics.
- Sweaters and hoodies: warmer terry or fleece.
- Sportswear: open-hole knits or breathable fabrics.
- Dresses and flowing pieces: jersey with a soft drape.
Also consider climate, comfort and care. If in doubt, send a photo or description of your product to our admin for a fabric recommendation.
